Paul Quinn College’s Greek life has been apparent since 1952 when it was located in Waco, TX. When looking through the archives with librarian Clarice Weeks, a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority,Inc., we noticed that there was a robust livelihood within the Greek culture. More importantly there seemed to be unity.
From observation, the sorority that was most prominent was Zeta Phi Beta Sorority with the fraternity being their brothers Phi Beta Sigma. It wasn’t until the late 60s early 70s, where more organizations seemingly became more involved.
After looking through vintage Greek photos, Destiny and I decided to go out and talk to the current Greeks on the yard to get some feedback on PQC Greek life then and now. Please watch our “Watch The Yard: PQC Version” video below:
